The County of Albemarle Planning Division will grant or recommend approval of the boundary adjustment plat referenced
above once the following comments have been addressed: [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference, which is
to the Subdivision/Zoning Ordinances unless otherwise specified.]
1. [14-301(B)] Scale. The plat submitted does not scale. Provide a full-sized copy of the plat that scales. Rev 1.
Comment addressed.
2. [14-302(A)2] Vicinity map. Provide a vicinity map at a scale of one (1) inch equal to two thousand (2,000) feet
showing the property and its relationship with adjoining land and streets. Rev 1. Comment addressed.
3. [14-302(A)9] Building sites on proposed lots. If true provide the following note: "Lot 1, Lot 2, and TMP 21-40D
each contain a building site that complies with section 4.2.1 of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance. " Rev 1.
Comment not fully addressed. While Lot 2 has a building site, Lot 1 and TMP 21-40D must also be certified
to have a building site. Revise the note to include these lots as well.
4. [14-302(B)7] Reservoir watershed. Revise the watershed note as follows: "These properties are not in a Water
Supply Watershed". Rev 1. Comment addressed.
5. [14-303(A)] Statement of consent to division. Revise the statement to read: "The platting or dedication of the
following described land [insert correct description of the land subdivided] is with free consent and in accordance
with the desire of the undersigned owners, proprietors and trustees, if any. " Rev 1. Comment addressed.
6. [14303(0)] Signature Panels. Revise the County's signature block as follows: "Agent for the Board of
Supervisors" Rev 1. Comment addressed.
7. [14-302(B)(1)] General Information. When the plat is revised, please provide the date of the last revision on the
plat. Rev 1. Comment addressed.
8. [14-309 & 14-3101 Prior to final plat approval each lot shall have a primary and reserve drainfield location and
individual well approved by the Health Department. The plat was forwarded to the Health Departmentfor their
review/approval. Rev 1. Comment still relevant.
Staff has provided references to provisions of Chapter 14 of the Code of the County of Albemarle. The Code is kept up to
date by the County Attorney's office. The Code may found on the County Attorney's website which may be found under
"Departments and Services" at Albemarle.org. In accord with the provisions of Section 14-229(B) of Chapter 14 of the
Code if the developer fails to submit a revised final plat to address all of the requirements within six (6) months after the
date of this letter the application shall be deemed to have been voluntarily withdrawn by the developer. Please contact
