Correction:
I spoke with Ana.
The Final Plat may not be approved until SWM facilities and roadway/drainage improvements associated with blocks
shown with Phase 1B plat are built, or bonded. May 31, 2018,I visited Rivanna Phase 1,and noted certain roadway and
drainage improvements have been built,but apparently the only road plan bond we have covers Winding Road. Prior to
Final Plat approval,all roadway improvements associated with Phase 1B must be bonded, or built. In the case of un-
bonded but built improvements,to avoid bond requirements for drainage,pavement, sidewalks, street trees,and other
improvements shown with SUB2015-00119,Applicant is required to furnish pipe inspection video,material/test
/inspection reports,PE certification, and an As-built drawing;that is, items identical to Engineering's road plan bond
reduction request checklist. I will reach out to Mr. Culpeper,though likely not today(by tomorrow),to explain bond
requirements as they relate to Phase 1B Final Plat approval. Ana and you have been an immeasurable help—thank you.

Developer recently requested bond reductions for both WPO and Road Plan bonds.
Engineering has no objection to SUB201700155, since improvements are bonded.
