Hello Jennifer,
Can you please identify the Pantone colors for the C in the sign? I see one is identified as Pantone 1375 C
but there appears to be an additional color on the back of the C.

Hello Jennifer,
I once again apologize for the confusion and delay, however there are few revisions still needed to the
application to approve. Items 1 and 2 on the attached letter still need be addressed. The night view
detail in the sign detail for the freestanding sign is a appreciated addition but we will need clear
indication of which areas of the sign are opaque and which will be illuminated, the background must be
opaque. For the landscaping I will need a sketch plan showing location, with quantity, botanical names,
and planting sizes. Evergreen shrubs are recommended with a minimum planting height of 18 inches.

Hi Jennifer,
Always hesitate to give approval times, but it does need to get ARB approval next so Margaret might be
one to reach out to. Generally speaking, I'd say probably under 2 weeks.

Peter,
Thanks for that clarification. Would you be able to provide something which shows the sign occurring at
least 5' from the property line? A survey or a plat that shows this would be ideal. As you can see, our GIS
aerials show the sign outside of the property line.

Jeff,
Regarding the monument sign:
1. The existing pole is 6" round, 8' tall. However the pole cover is 8'1" x
6" wide x 18" deep (which is being removed). Overall height of the
existing sign is 12'.
2. The new signage is a total, overall, of 30sgft.

Peter,
Also, regarding the proposed free-standing sign, I was informed by one of our ARB staff that — though
the packet showed a rendering of the new sign going on a smaller, skinnier pole — the existing pole of
the current free-standing sign was going to be utilized. Is this the case?
If so, please provide an updated sheet of the submittal packet to show this and the dimensions of the
existing pole. A word of caution, if the combined total area of the sign with this structure cannot exceed
80 sq. ft, per:
4.15.12 MAXIMUM FREESTANDING SI I I SIZE; SIGN FACE; M A U
Each sign shall be subject to the following, as applicable:
a. Size offreestanding signs and their suppoi•f sri•rreture. The maximur
standing sign and its support structure shall not exceed two and one-hal
allowable sign size.
As the max allowed area for the sign itself is 32 sq.ft. I think it should be alright as the pole seems to be
around the same size of the existing sign, which is 44 sq.ft. It just seems curious to have a 20 sq.ft size go
atop of a pole over twice its size. Let me know if I'm misunderstanding anything.
Thanks,

Peter,
The building frontage length was marked as "0" on the submitted sign applications for Comfort Inn,
which is of course, impossible. Unless you have a more accurate distance, I'm going to go off of our GIS
measuring tool, which shows about 177' of building frontage. This point is actually not very important as
the max total allowed for wall signage maxes out at 200 sq.ft, which greatly exceeds the sign area
proposed.
AF
at I
u.` r
Also, the dimensions for the wall sign was given as 24" x 19'2" (38.3 sq.ft), however, I am going to go
with 43.6 sq.ft (10.6 sq.ft for the "C" portion and 33 sq.ft for the "Comfort Inn" portion)
Let me know if any objection to these numbers.
