DO NOT CLICK on links or open attachments unless you are sure the content is safe. Kevin, VDOT has inspected the entrance and found that it meets low volume commercial standards and should be acceptable to use for occasional events. Adam J. Moore, P.E. I Assistant Resident Engineer — Land Use VDOT - Charlottesville Residency 701 VDOT Way I Charlottesville I V.k main 434.422.9782 On Tue, Nov 5, 2019 at 11:20 AM Kevin McCollum <kmccollum@albemarle.org> wrote: Good Morning Athena, The Zoning Administration team met today and confirmed that the Zoning Clearance for events or activities at a Farm Winery cannot be approved until we receive approval from VDOT for the entrance. Adam Moore, our VDOT contact, has suggested that the property only meets standards for a low volume commercial entrance of only 50 trips/day maximum. Since this Clearance is for special Events or Activities at a Farm Winery that will exceed 50 vehicle trips/day the current entrance is inadequate. Please work with Adam and VDOT to make the necessary improvements to the entrance so that they can confirm the entrance meets the standards for a Moderate Volume Commercial Entrance. I have attached the Clearance and VDOT's advisory email for reference. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks,
