Subject: SUB201900186 — Van Der Linde Housing — Two Lot Subdivision
The County of Albemarle Planning Division will grant or recommend approval of the
Final Plat referenced above once the following comments have been addressed: [Each
comment is preceded by the applicable reference, which is to the Subdivision
Ordinances unless otherwise specified.] If no action is taken within 6 months of
receiving these review comments, the application will be deemed withdrawn.
Planning (Tori Kanellopoulos):
1. [14-232(B)(2)] Private street authorization in the Rural Areas for two -lot divisions.
Include a note on the plat that the private street easement will be the sole and
direct means of access for Parcels 131 and B2 only.
2. [14-317] Private street maintenance agreement. A private street maintenance
agreement is required for this application. Complete the template provided by
staff. This document requires County Attorneys Office review and approval.
3. [14-303(D)] Acreage. According to DB 2648 PG 337 and the County's GIS, the
acreage of the current parcel is 26.27 acres, however the plat shows 25.82.
Please clarify.
4. [14-309] and [14-310] and [14-416] Health Department approval. This plat and
the provided soil work have been forwarded to the Health Department for their
review and approval.
5. [14-316] Approval of entrance onto public streets. This plat has been transmitted
to VDOT for their review and approval.
Health Department (Josh Kirtley):
1. PENDING. Soil work and plat were transmitted 11/21/19.
VDOT (Willis Bedsaul):
1. PENDING.
