RE: Petition SP-81-21 Mary H. Leavell
Dear Mrs. Leavell:
The Albemarle County Board of Supervisors at its meeting of June 17, 1981,
voted to approve your above-referenced petition, as recommended by the
Planning Commission, subject to the follo'ding conditions:
1) Limitation of one tennis court;
2) Not more than 21 hours of lessons per week, limited to Monday
through F:::-iday, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., and on
Saturday, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.!:'..
3) The court shall not be open to the general publis. This permit is
issued to allow only private lessons as described in Condition #2;
4) Virginia Department of Highvlays and Transportation approval of the
entrance. Staff approval of parking facilities;
5) No artificial lighting for tennis;
6) Special use permit to be applied to two (2) acres of the property,
exclusive of any dwel~ings, and this area is to be described by plat with
appropriate metes and bounds and shown to the Planning Department within
thirty (30) days of June 2, 1981.
