Leonard Re: SP-82-30 Rappa.'l.annock Electric Coop Gentlemen : The Albem3rle County Board of Supervisors, at its meeting on June 16, 1982, voted to approve your above-referenced special use permit request, subject to the follONing conditions: 1. Approval of this petition shall not be deerred to be an endorsement of any subsequent projects of Happahannock Electric Cooperative, Virginia Electric and Fewer Cc:mpany or any other agency or person related to the usage of this substation. County reviEW of any subsequent project will be treated as new business without reference to this approval and such proj ect may be approved or denied based on its :rreri ts; 2. Approval of this petition shall not be deemed to be endorsement of Virginia Electric and Paver Canpany's pro}?Osed Remington-Hollymead transmission line project. The County has made no fonnal review of the pro}?Osed project and therefore has no official position on the proposal; 3. The existing temporary substation and appurtenances shall be removed and the site restored within thirty (30) days of the perrranent substation becoming operational; 4. Site plan approval to include: a. Sufficient berm on nort..~ern and southern and eastern property lines with evergreen trees (four feet to six feet in height) on fifteen-foot centers on top of the bem in order to screen the substation structures; e e Rappaharmock Electric Coop SP-82-30 June 18, 1982 Page 2 b. Trespass fencing around substation structures; c. Virginia Departrrent of Highways and TranspJrtation approval of a ccmnercial entrance. 5. Grading pemit; 6. Access limited to Route 606. No access shall be pemitted fran Route 29 North; 7. Structures shall not exceed forty feet in height. If you should have any questions concerning this action and notification, you may contact Hr.
