• ZMA 2002-008 South Pantops Office (Sign #83 & 84) - Request to rezone 24.07
acres from PD-MC (Planned District- Mixed Commercial) to PD-MC (Planned
District- Mixed Commercial) and HC (Highway Commercial) to amend a proffered
plan to allow for an office use instead of a hotel use and to allow for an
expansion of Dennis Enterprises car dealership. The properties, described as
Tax Map 78 Parcel 73A and Parcel 13, are located in the Rivanna Magisterial
District on Hanson Road in the Giant Shopping Center at Pantops and on Route
250. The Comprehensive Plan designates these properties as Regional Service.
They are located in Pantops.
This petition will oe reviewed and public comment received according to the following
public hearing schedules:

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2002
The Planning Commission meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m., Please note that review of the
public hearing items for the November 6, 2002, Board meeting will begin at 1 :30 p.m.
Both the Commission and Board Meeting will be held in Room #241, Second Floor, County
Office Building, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, Virginia. You will receive a copy of the
staff report and tentative agenda one week prior to the Planning Commission meeting.
You may review the file in the Planning Department, at the address above. If you should
