The amendment would allow two offices instead of the proffered use—a hotel. I will be managing the rezoning application and Yadira will be managing the preliminary site plan application. We understand that County recently changed its policy to not allow a rezoning and site plan to run concurrently. However, this policy was made only very recently and not everyone in the public sector knew of the change in policy. Additionally,-the land use questions appear to be negligible on the surface. Therefore,we are making an exception in this case and reviewing the two applications concurrently. If a problem with the rezoning arises, the site plan review schedule will be put on hold until the ZMA issue is resolved. We will follow the rezoning schedule for providing comments back to planners. Therefore, These applications will go to PRE-X on July 26th and SRC on August 1St. Please have your comments to us or into SPIN by July 29,2002.
