Map Effective Date: December 16, 1980
We reviewed a request dated June 29, 1998, for a conditional Letter of Map Revision (LOMR). All information
required for this request was received on September 26, 1998. Using the information submitted and the
effective National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) map, we determined that portions of the property described
below are located in the Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA), but the proposed structure would not be in the
SFHA if built as shown on the submitted elevation information and the site plan, entitled "North Garden Fire
Department Site Plan," dated June 29, 1998, last revised September 14, 1998, and prepared by Roudabush, Gale
and Associates, Inc. The SFHA is an area that would be inundated by the flood having a 1-percent chance of
being equaled or exceeded in any given year (base flood). This property will be elevated by the placement of
fill.
