Matt,
Please accept WPO resubmittal, which includes copy of Drainage Report with project area DA Maps, soil
maps, VSMH Appendix 5D Worksheets (water quality calculations), and storm routings. We realize need
to purchase nutrient credits (in process), and to submit a SWPPP for this project. I have attached most
recent Engineering plan review comments, as point of reference. We believe attached plans /report
adequately address comments 1.4.
Comment 5:
Pre- and post -development drainage areas are identical. We hope that since VDOT plan template governs
revenue share projects, drainage area maps inserted in the calculation booklet as opposed to plan sheets will
suffice. Please note that Appendix B pre- and post -development drainage area maps now include contour
labels. I am available during normal business hours to meet to discuss or assist with this comment.
Comment 6:
Appendix C, Drainage Report, shows calculations that report pollutant /phosphorus reduction requirements
for this Part IIC project. Appendix C includes VSMH Vol. II Appendix 5D Worksheets, for development
regime 2. We hope this section of the Drainage Report addresses this comment.
Revision 1 Comments
2. The installation of the pipe leading to `Outfall I" and the proposed underground detention system
are not included in your limits of disturbance, please correct.
3. Provide profiles for proposed pipe and associated structures.
4. Provide more information concerning the proposed underground detention system. What is its
capacity? How exactly does it factor in to reducing the discharge at "Outtall I *"! This may be
buried in your calculation booklet but should be detailed in the plans.
5. Please include the pro- and post -development drainage area plans (inserted in to your calculation
booklet) in the actual VSMP plan set. Some of the drainage areas appear unrealistic relative to the
provided contours, please explain.
6. The project description in your calculation booklet references a total project area of 0.51 acres and
a total area to be disturbed of 0.94 acres. This is confusing, please clarify. You also referencc a
required 10% pollutant reduction; however, "Situation 3" does not require a straight 10%
reduction, as your calculation show. Please clarify this.
Thanks in advance for your help.
