RE: ARB-2019.156: Wild Turkey (Cross Property) Tier II PWSF (TMP: 05700-00-00-0411-0)
Dear Mr. Holland,
The Albemarle County Architectural Review Board, at its meeting on Monday, February 3, 2020,
completed a preliminary review of the above -noted request and took the following actions.
Regarding the Special Use Permit, the Board by a vote of 5:0, forwarded the following
recommendation to the Planning Commission:
The ARB finds that the proposed location will sufficiently minimize the visibility of the
monopole from the Entrance Corridor, based on continued existence of trees in the right-of-
way.
&aardina the Certificate of Apropriateness for the ground equipment and base station:
The ARB recommends approval of the Certificate of Appropriateness with the following
condition:
Eliminate visibility of ground equipment. Fence height must be the shortest height
that will provide screening. Demonstrate lack of visibility.
Reaardina recommendations on the plan:
1. Correct and coordinate information on tree removal.
2. Correct discrepancies with the Drawing Index.
Please provide:
1. Two full sets of revised drawings addressing earn of the comments listed above. Include
updated revision dates on each drawing.
2. A memo including detailed responses indicating how each condition has been satisfied. If
changes other than those requested have been made, identify those changes in the memo
also. Highlighting the changes in the drawing with "clouding" or by other means will facilitate
review and approval.
3. The attached "Revised Application Submittal" form. This form must be returned with your
revisions to ensure proper tracking and distribution.
When staff's review of this information indicates that all conditions of approval have been met, a
Certificate of Appropriateness may be issued.
