Box E Gordonsville, VA 22942 RE: Board of Zoning Appeals Action VA201900001 Bufton & Maus Law Office Tax Map 50, Parcel 49 Dear Mr. Maus & Ms. Bufton: Fax (434) 972-4126 At their meeting on February 4, 2020, the Board of Zoning Appeals voted 4-0 to approve variance request VA201900001 with the following conditions: 1. This approval is limited to a modification of the side setback to not less than six (6) feet to allow a Major Home Occupation as described in Supplemental Regulations in 5.2A and shown on the building permit (B201702431 NNR). 2. This approval is subject to a licensed surveyor certification that any portion of the building is at least six (6) feet from the side property line. The Board found that the facts before it satisfy the requirements set out in the Virginia Code § 15.2-2309.2, second paragraph, as previously discussed at the Board meeting. If you are aggrieved by this decision, you have the right to appeal it within thirty (30) days of the date of the decision, in accordance with Section 15.2-2314 of the Code of Virginia. If you do not file a timely appeal, this decision shall be final and unappealable. An appeal shall be taken only by filing a petition specifying the grounds on which aggrieved with the Circuit Court of Albemarle County within the prescribed thirty (30) days.
