Re: Zoning Verification for Tax Map parcels 36-1 and 36-2
Dear Sir/Madam:
This letter is to request your confirmation of the zoning status and compliance with
applicable zoning ordinances and any related development approvals of parcels located near the
Village of Barboursville, currently shown on the County of Albemarle Tax Maps as Tax Map
parcels 36-1 and 36-2, owned by Barboursville Corporation, containing 171.18 acres (the
"Property").
Please prepare a zoning compliance letter for the Property including the following
information:
The zoning classification of the Property is Rural Area (RA), as defined in the Albemarle
County Zoning Ordinance (the "Zoning Ordinance");
2. The location of the Property within the RA zoning district permits, by right, all of the uses
set out in § 10.2.1;
3. Whether there are any zoning actions, such as zoning map amendments and conditional use
permits, and any proffers affecting the Property, and copies of the same;
4. That the current uses, occupancy, operation, and improvements of the property are in full
compliance with all applicable zoning codes, rules, and regulations of said zoning district;
5. That all improvements presently on the parcels (including parking and loading docks)
comply with applicable provisions of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance;

conditions which might prevent the construction and operation of the proposed uses; and
7. That you are authorized and empowered to execute the letter on behalf of Albemarle
County.
