We have reviewed the above referenced plans and have the following comments:
Engineering (Emily Cox)
1. Two deeds are necessary to go along with this plat, a drainage deed and a SWM facility deed.
These deeds will need to be updated with the new, revised plat, per email discussion regarding no
longer vacating the existing storm easement.
Planning (Paty Saternye)
1. See attached comment letter dated 2/7/2020
VDOT (Adam Moore)
1. No objections. See attached comment letter dated 2/6/2020.
ACSA (Richard Nelson)
1. ACSA requests additional easement on property to make it a 20' sewer easement. ACSA
requests 5' of sewer easement along neighboring property.
2. Call out existing sewer easement as "Existing 10' ACSA Sewer Easement".
Engineering plan review staff are available from 2-4 PM on Thursdays, should you require a meeting to
discuss this review.

SUB-2020-196 Daly's Rent All — Easement Plat
The County of Albemarle Planning Division will grant or recommend approval of the
Final Plat referenced above once the following comments have been addressed: [Each
comment is preceded by the applicable reference, which is to the Subdivision/Zoning
Ordinances unless otherwise specified.]
[14-302 (A)(5), 14-302(B)(14), 14-303(E)&(L)] Public Easements; Land to be
dedicated in fee or reserved; Dimension standards and information on all lots,
streets, alleys, easements, and shared driveways; Public utility, drainage and
sight distance easements. Address the following:
a) Revise the plat to state "Public" in the label for all public easements.
i. The existing 20' drainage easement is a public easement and requires "public"
to be added to its label(s).
ii. The existing 10' sewer easement is a public easement and requires "public" to
be added to its label(s).
b) Revise the easement line table to include all labels for all of the easement line calls.
E4, E5, E6 and E9 do not appear to be included int the chart or elsewhere on the plat
even though there is easement linework labeled with those calls.
c) As engineering previously informed you, the vacation of a portion of the existing
public drainage easement would require a public meeting and approval by the BOS.
If that portion of the easement is now to remain update the notes, linework and
hatching appropriately.
2. [14-302 (A)(15)] Identification of all owners and certain interest holders. Revise the
plat to ensure that the owners address is correct. The address for the owner on the plat
is not consistent with what is provided on the last submission of the site plan. If the
address on the plat is correct, then ensure that the address for the owner is updated on
the site plan prior to the next submission.
3. [14-303 (A)] Statement of consent to division. Revise the statement of consent to
division based upon changes that have been discussed after the submission of this
plat. It is my understanding that a portion of the existing drainage easement will no
longer be vacated and the applicant has requested to add/expand a sewer easement
to meet ACSA requirements.
4. [14-302(B)(9)] Flood Plain. The flood plain note begins with "Portion of" However, it
appears that the full parcel is in zone X. Please either revise this note to remove
"Portion of" or provide clarification to planning review.

The Department of Transportation, Charlottesville Residency Transportation and Land Use
Section, has reviewed the above referenced submitted by Meridian Planning Group, LLC dated
December 20, 2019, and find it to be generally acceptable.

A VDOT Land Use Permit will be required prior to any work within the right-of-way. The
owner/developer must contact the VDOT Charlottesville Residency Land Use Section at (434)
422-9399 for information pertaining to this process
