Internally illuminated cabinet signs must have opaque backgrounds. (Opaque materials don't allow light to pass through. When lit only from behind, the color of an opaque material cannot be detected norcan objects be seen through it.) o Identification of proposed materials and colors. Include standard color id numbers (Pantone, Benjamin Moore, Acrylic, etc.) for all materials,text,graphics, base, faces, trim caps, returns, etc. o Provide accurate physical samples of all colors proposed, preferably in the materialproposed. (Paint chips that accurately reflect the proposed colors are acceptable.) o Provide asite plan showing proposed landscaping around the sign, including botanical names and pla ntingsizes. o Additional submitta I materials may be required if review by the Architectural Review Board is necessary. Include standard color identification numbers (Pantone, Benjamin Moore, Acrylic, etc.) for all materials, text, graphics, faces,trim caps, etc. For channelletter signs, indicate on the drawing that the racy color shall match the color of the wall to which the raceway is attached. o Provide accurate physical samples ofall colors proposedin the sign, preferably in the material proposed. (Paint chips that accurately reflect the proposed colors are acceptable.) o Location of proposed light fixtures and manufacturercut sheets describing illumination type, intensity, style, shielding, color, and height. LETTER FACE ° Black clear"'anodized brushed finish COLOR Signs shall be contained within the identified sign areas and shall meet the SIZE LIMITATIONS size and proportion requirements of the Zoning Ordinance and sign guidelines. North Elevation Entrance bays: Signs are to be centered above each entrance and shall not LOCATION(S) exceed the width of the canopy below. The bottom of the lowest line of text in all signs shall align at F above the canopy. Walls between entrance bays: Signs are to be centered top to bottom, and centered either over the window groups or over the central brick wall area. See attached drawings for height and width restrictions. MOUNTING Flush or spacer mounting is appropriate. Stand-offs in spacer mounting DETAILS shall be limited to ''/2". Rail mounting is not appropriate. GRAPHICS Graphics/logos, when used, shall be non -illuminated and coordinated with DETAILS letter size and color. ILLUMINATION Signs shall be non -illuminated. Consistent sizing in fonts shall be utilized within the individual tenant sign LETTER for legibility and clarity. Up to 3 typefaces may be used in an individual TYPE/FONT sign if a balanced, legible, unified design is maintained. MATERIALS Cast aluminum letters and associated mounts. /--
