Margaret,
See attached LA Plan. I wanted to run this by you before I submitted since it is quite different then what I had.
1. The Lindens were just not going to work with the limited space. I replaced them with Green Pillar Pin Oaks that
will fit a little better between the parking and the existing shed and potentially future addition. I spaced them
40' apart or less and put two other ones on the other side. I cannot push them any further East along the
parking because the tree would be in conflict with the septic field and sanitary lateral. The parking lot is 75' long
from the first stall to the back of dumpster, so 4 large shade trees around the perimeter in addition to the two
maples I think meets the intent but I thought I would run it by you since we need to get approval this next round
so he can get started.
2. Spaced hornbeams more from maples.
3. Glabra "Nigras" increased to 24" but now there are also a mix of Glabra "Shamrock" since I had to add a lot
more screening on the south side of the parking.
4. There is no tree on the northeast corner. That was a random circle that I deleted, probably trying to check
clearance to the sanitary lateral.
Paty,
I have copied you on this email as well since most of your comments were LA related as well. The only comment of
yours not addressed on here is the (3) Pines, I still need to confirm that which I plan to do tomorrow. Just to run
through your comments:
13. LA Plan Comments:
j. Screening added to south side of parking.
k. Canopy was based on size when planted. Has been updated to 10-yr size based on caliper at time of
planting and updated with new quantities.
I. Updated.
m. Previously approved plan items:
i. Still needs to be added to attached sheet. Will follow-up once I know more.
ii. Existing side azaleas added. There are none located in the front. Label added for owner to
replace them with new at their own discretion or use existing.
Dumpster screening extended.
Hope you all had a great Holiday break. Thank you for your help on getting this done. Looking forward to having this
wrapped up so the client can get within zoning compliance and move on to the next stage for their tenant.
Sincerely,
D. Kent O'Donohue Jr., LA
