I want to let you know how I've come to this max allowed calculation.The building frontage was indicated as being 160', 80' in the "front" (facing the parking lot) and 80' in the "rear" (facing Rt. 29). I agree with this number and thus it qualifies as the establishment having double frontage. In these cases,the Ordinance allows max square footage calculated as such: 1 First frontage: 80' x 1.5= 120 sq.ft Second frontage: 80'x 0.5=40 sq. ft(calculated at one-third the rate, hence the "0.5") TOTAL max allowed square footage= 160 sq.ft In looking closely at the submitted packet, I see that these signs are to be channel lettering. Rather than ask that you decrease the total by 3 square feet, I think that the square footages that were provided may be higher than what they actually are. Keep in mind,with channel letters,you don't count the spacing in between the individual letters. Long story short, since I believe the total signage is probably a good amount under the max allowed, could you revise the packet to indicate revised sizes for these wall signs?
