I have reviewed your Champion Grill sign proposal for consistency with the Stonefield Comprehensive Sign Plan (CSP) and the Entrance Corridor Sign Guidelines. You have proposed a sign on the Bond Street side of the building, and one on the District Avenue side of the building. The Bond Street sign does not require ARB review. The sign drawings indicate that the wall panel to which the District Avenue sign will be attached has a width of 74.75", and the sign has a width of 64". The approved CSP requires a minimum of 8" clearance from the sides of the sign to the edges of the wall panel. Consequently, the sign is too long. Please revise the sign size to meet these criteria and revise the sign drawings accordingly. Please respond by email within 15 days of the date of this letter indicating whether you will or will not proceed with these revisions. Your decision to make the revisions will suspend the 60-day review period associated with your original submittal. If you choose to complete the revisions, please email the revised drawings to me. If you choose not to proceed with these revisions, staff will be unable to approve your application. Failure to respond to this letter shall be presumed to be a request to proceed to action on the application without further revisions. If you have any questions about this action, please contact me as soon as possible. Thank you.
