1. Based on the proposed building height a 26' travel way must be provided within 30' of the
building. Salamander Street exceeds the allowable distance to serve as the aerial apparatus access
road.
2. The travel ways on the parcel exceed 150' and must provide an emergency apparatus turn
around.
3. Fire department connections must be shown on the plan and be located within 100' of a
hydrant. FDC's shall be located so that their use does not impact traffic flow.
4. ISO needed fire flow must be shown.
5. Available fire flow must be provided prior to final acceptance.
6. A knox box must be provided on each building. Please add a note indicating the requirement
and that the location on each building can be coordinated with the fire marshal's office.
