Dear Commission Members and Staff:
This letter is to let you know that we are very pleased to have Regents School of Charlottesville as our new neighbor.
We have an excellent working relationship with them and have met several times with them to discuss mutually beneficial
development issues between the two of us. In fact, our last meeting with them was April 24th at which we discussed the
potential shared use of our pump station and a sewer connection easement to reach it, pedestrian access between the two
properties, and a shared parking arrangement.
I see no material issues with any of the above and fully expect that we will have finalized, recordable (for the sewer easement
and pump station) documents on these shared solutions within the next couple of weeks, but certainly prior to the time that
Regents' Special Use Permit hearing reaches the Board of Supervisors, which I understand is early August. We are simply
waiting for the lawyers and engineers to memorialize our agreement.
