This resolves the remaining CDD-Planning review comment (issued 10/24/19), and I have no objections to this final plat. I copied GDS staff on this response (including Brian Becker, who is currently handling road naming; and Andy Slack, who you previously coordinated with). They can review the new proposed private street name ("John C. Herr Drive") and determine if that is acceptable. Brian, please let us know if that name is acceptable whenever you are able to review and make a determination. Joe, if no other revisions to this plat are necessary based on GDS comments, and/or based on CDD review of corresponding WPO Plan and/or Road Plans, then this plat should be ready for notarized owners signatures. However, please note that CDD cannot approve this final plat of division and BLA (SUB201900106) until after the corresponding water protection ordinance plan (WP0201900021) and corresponding road plans (SUB201900049) are approved (inclusive of all associated documents / agreements / easements / bonds and/or other sureties being finalized). I hope this info helps. Please let me know if you have any additional questions at this time. Hi Tim - Regarding SUB201900106 ('UVA Research Park Loop Road' plat), please see the attached PDF of what we hope to be the final version of the plat (for final approval). The comment provided (CDD-Planning, comment 6, stipulating notation of 50' Buffer Zone) has been addressed on this version. Sheet 2 presents graphically, with annotation, the 50' eastern buffer, with annotation. The depiction also appears on subsequent sheets 3 & 4 where those portions of the site appear. I also want to note that there was interest in showing the name of the 'Loop Road' upon determination of this name. The loop road will be John C. Herr Drive, and we are showing this on the plat as well. Please let us know if you have any questions, and if we are in position to submit the final, signed plat for County approval and signature. Since I'm the only reviewer still requesting any revisions, and since the remaining revision is minor, I would be willing to look at a draft PDF of the final plat before you resubmit for approval. Assuming that final review comment is addressed on the PDF, that would save you the effort, cost, and time of formally resubmitting for re -review (just to confirm that one final revision). And as this letter specifies, the road plans (SUB201900049) for the loop road have to be approved and bonded prior to final plat approval, but hopefully that informal digital review process described above will still be somewhat helpful. Thanks; and please let me know if any of you have questions.
