HomeMy WebLinkAboutCCP201900003 Correspondence 2019-08-30UNIVERSITYof VIRGINIA FOUNDATION RE: Community Meeting,,CCP201900003 — UVA Encompass Health Dear Neighbor, The University of Virginia Foundation invites you to attend a Community Meeting on Thursday, September 19th, at 6:00 PM at the Hollymead Fire Station, regarding a proposed 70-bed and approximately 72,000 square foot rehabilitation hospital being developed jointy by UVA and Encompass Health. The proposed use would be located on Tax Map Parcel 03200-00-00-01800, located on Airport Road, approximately 1,700 feet Northwest of the intersection of Airport Road and Route 29, and adjacent to the Hollymead Fire Station. This site is within the UVA Research Park near its Innovation Drive access. This proposed rehabitilation hospital will be a relocation of the existing rehabilitation hospital in Fontaine Research Park. The purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for residents to receive information and ask questions about the proposed project, County review procedures, and relevant regulations and policies of the County applicable to the proposed project. The applicant and County Staff will be available at the meeting to answer questions about the project and the review process. The meeting will start (doors will open) at 6:00 PM. This agenda item will include a presentation of the proposed project, followed by a question and answer period. The meeting will take place during the regularly scheduled Places29 North Community Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting at the Hollymead Fire Station, located at 3575 Innovation Drive, Charlottesville, VA 22911.
