Under section § 17-900 of the Albemarle County Code, this is your NOTICE TO COMPLY with
the requirements of the Land Disturbance Permit (or Agreement in Lieu of a Plan) for the
referenced project and to immediately take corrective measures to address erosion and sediment
control deficiencies on this property. This Notice to Comply is being issued because of the
following deficiencies:
Deficiency: Large areas of denuded soil present
Corrective Action: Seed and straw mulch as required per VESCP minimum standards
Deficiency: Inlet protection missing on a number of active storm inlets
Corrective Action: Install and maintain proper inlet protection as per the state program minimum
standards
Deficiency: Missing or inadequate controls in place
Corrective Action: Install proper perimeter controls to protect downstream properties and
waterways
Deficiency: Areas of mortar and concrete wash on the ground.
Corrective Action: Provide a containment area for waste disposal
Deficiency: No containment observed at time of inspection,
Corrective Action: Provide a concrete waste water containment area
Deficiency: Areas of mortar and concrete wash on the ground. No containment for cleaning of
contractor equipment, visible signs of wash directly on the ground.

VESCP and single-family dwelling units (§ 17-207) or a $250 fee for land disturbing under VSMP (§ 17-
208). Failure to take effective corrective measures will result in a Stop Work Order upon re -inspection.
