The following is our comment response letter addressing comments received from various departments. Each comment is addressed and responded to as follows: Albemarle County Department of Community Develoament —Cameron Canaille. Senior Planner Comment 1: [32,5.2i] All easements need to be platted and approved prior to final site plan approval, including off -site improvements. Deeds may be required for off -site improvements to ensure maintenance. Rev1: Comment outstanding. Easement plat has not been submitted to date. Rev. 2: Easement plat, SUB201900138, has been submitted and is under review. Once the plat is approved and recorded, the final site plan will need to be updated to include the new easements and state their deed book and page number for the actual plat and any accompany easement deeds. Rev. 3: Comment not fully addressed. SUB201900138 is still under review and not yet recorded. Approval of final site plan must follow approval and recordation of the easement plat. Response 1: Plat has now been approved and recorded. Rev1: Comment outstanding. Affordable housing needs to be provided. Rev. 2: Per applicant comment response letter, affordable housing options are currently being discussed with the developer. Please provide additional information and confirmation on how this comment will be addressed with the next submittal. Response 2: Note has been added to Sheet 3 stating that Affordable units will be provided in future block areas per Proffer #4, as was noted in the Block 4 Apartment approval. Comment 3: Rev. 3: Comment not fully addressed. Per applicant response, no affordable units are proposed on the Block 8A site plan. As of date, no affordable units have been provided within any block of Brookhill. Please provide a plan of action for beginning to provide affordable units as required by proffer #4, or indicate whether cash -in -lieu will be used for this specific block as described in proffer #4C.
