At this time, we can only approve the BNB for two guest rooms (two of the three yellow highlighted rooms on the attached) and one owner/tenant manager room. (Provided we can verify owner/manager.) Those are the rooms Dwayne (building inspector) approved as bedrooms. I consulted with Dwayne and you have the option of getting approval for the two additional bedrooms (orange on attached) if you apply for an electrical permit to add smoke detectors to those rooms. A closet is not required to make a room a bedroom. You would also (see below) need to work with the health department to get approval for the additional bedrooms. You would need to work with Alan on that. If you add bedrooms, I am not sure if that will trigger any additional building permits or need to issue a new CO so I've copied Keith Huckstep. At this time, we can only approve the BNB for two guest rooms (two of the three yellow highlighted rooms on the attached) and one owner/tenant manager room. (Provided we can verify owner/manager.) Those are the rooms Dwayne (building inspector) approved as bedrooms. I consulted with Dwayne and you have the option of getting approval for the two additional bedrooms (orange on attached) if you apply for an electrical permit to add smoke detectors to those rooms. A closet is not required to make a room a bedroom. You would also (see below) need to work with the health department to get approval for the additional bedrooms. You would need to work with Alan on that. If you add bedrooms, I am not sure if that will trigger any additional building permits or need to issue a new CO so I've copied Keith Huckstep.
