Subject: SUB202000079 Dunlora Park Lot 1— BLA/Right-of-way Dedication
The County of Albemarle Planning Division will grant or recommend approval of the Boundary Line
Adjustment Plat referenced above once the following comments have been addressed: [Each comment is
preceded by the applicable reference, which is to the Subdivision/Zoning Ordinances unless otherwise
specified.]
1. [14-302(A)(1)] Name of the Subdivision. Revise the name of the subdivision to also include
"Right-of-way dedication" in the title.
2. [14-302(A)14, 14-4281 Land to be dedicated in fee. On the plat provide the following note for the
right-of-way dedication: " ' Wide Public Right-of-way Area Hereby Dedicated to the County
of Albemarle for Public Use. "
3. [14-301] Scale. The plat doesn't scale correctly. Verify that the scale 1"=20' is correct. Also,
provide setback measurements on the property to the existing home.
4. [14-302(B)7] Reservoir watershed. Revise the watershed note to reference the property is not
located in a water supply watershed.
[14-302(A)14, 14-4281 Prior to final plat approval VDOT shall approve the plat. The plat has
been sent to VDOT. Pending review and approval by VDOT.
Staff has provided references to provisions of Chapter 14 of the Code of the County of Albemarle. The
Code is kept up to date by the County Attorney's office. The Code may found on the County Attorney's
website which may be found under "Departments and Services" at Albemarle.org. In accord with the
provisions of Section 14-229(B) of Chapter 14 of the Code if the developer fails to submit a revised final
plat to address all of the requirements within six (6) months after the date of this letter the application
shall be deemed to have been voluntarily withdrawn by the developer. Please contact Christopher Perez in
