Revise the Cobble Stone siding color to one that is warmer and more muted to blend better
into the landscape.
Three color options for siding will are available for staff and ARB consideration. Cobble Stone is a
muted, creamy tone. Renderings are not true to color, so please see below to determine staffs
preferred color option.

Consider using a stone veneer that emphasizes the warm color tones of the nearby hospital.
The Stone Veneu, r . r to include more warm tone colors from the Ashford Ashlar
Landmark Series to complement the color palette of the hospital. We are now showing a 50/50 mix of
the Glen Gery-Ashford and Glen Gery-Kentucky Grey. The added warmth of the Ashford mix more
closely emulates the warm tones included in the stonework of the Martha Jefferson Hospital.

Coordinate submitted material samples with materials and colors listed in the color
rendering packet and the line drawing elevations/notes.

Identify mechanical equipment on the plan.
Mechanical equipment is now identified on the ARB Site Plan Set. See sheets 4 and 5.

Add the standard mechanical equipment note to the architectural elevations. Visibility of all
mechanical equipment from the Entrance Corridor shall be eliminated.

Revise the site plan to clearly indicate all tree preservation areas and show adequate tree
protection fencing.

Consider a retaining wall block color that blends better with the landscape. Anchor Diamond
Pro "James River" has been approved for other Entrance Corridor locations.
We have substituted Anchor Diamond Pro 'James River", as requested by staff.
Revise the lighting plan to specify a warm white light (2700-3000K).
The lighting plan has been revised to incorporate this comment. See note on sheet 15.
Reduce the height of parking lot pole lights to 20' maximum, including bases.

Add the standard lighting note to the plan. "Each outdoor luminaire equipped with a lamp
that emits 3,000 or more initial lumens shall be a full cutoff luminaire and shall be arranged
or shielded to reflect light away from adjoining residential districts and away from adjacent
roads. The spillover of lighting from luminaires onto public roads and property in
residential or rural areas zoning districts shall not exceed one half footcandle."
Standard lighting note has been added to the ARB Site Plan set. See note on sheet 15.
Provide trees, 40' on center, 2-1/z" caliper at planting, along the full parcel frontage of Peter
Jefferson Parkway.
Trees have been added. See sheet 12.
Shift trees to locations outside of utility easements.
Complete.
Consider revising the Eastern Red Cedar screen to a mix of trees for a more natural
appearance.
Landscape Plan has been updated. See sheet 13.
