The County of Albemarle Planning Division will grant or recommend approval of the Subdivision Plat
referenced above once the following comments have been addressed: [Each comment is preceded by the
applicable reference, which is to the Subdivision/Zoning Ordinances unless otherwise specified.]
[14-302(A)11] This plat is the second step in a two-step process. The plat shall not be approved until
step 1 (SUB2020-62) is approved and recorded in the clerk's office. Revise the plat to provide the
recordation information of the above required action.
2. [14-235, 14-3171 Instrument evidencing maintenance of improvements. Provide a private street
maintenance agreement for County Attorney review and approval prior to final plat approval.
[14-309 & 14-3101 Soil evaluations; Health Director Approval of Wells and Septic Systems. Prior
to final plat approval the residue shall have a primary and reserve drainfield location and
individual well approved by the Health Department. The soil work that was submitted has been
sent to VDH for their review and approval.
Staff has provided references to provisions of Chapter 14 of the Code of the County of Albemarle. The Code is
kept up to date by the County Attorney's office. The Code may found on the County Attorney's website which
may be found under "Departments and Services" at Albemarle.org. In accord with the provisions of Section 14-
229(B) of Chapter 14 of the Code if the developer fails to submit a revised final plat to address all of the
requirements within six (6) months after the date of this letter the application shall be deemed to have been
voluntarily withdrawn by the developer. Please contact Christopher Perez in the Planning Division by using
