RE: LOR # 1 to SDP1980-53 ACSA Madison Office Park Pump Station Replacement
Dear Sir:
Your LOR application has been reviewed. In order for the amended site plan to be approved the following revisions are required:
1. [Comment] Provide a paved turn around for the access road serving the new pump station building.
2. [Comment] Revise the zoning to include Entrance Corridor (EC).
3. [Comment] Revise the title of the plan: "LOR #1 to SDP1980-53: ACSA Madison Office Park Pump Station Replacement".
4. [Comment] Address ARB comments, provided below.
Margaret Maliszewski — ARB
1. Indicate the wall material on the architectural drawings.
2. Add the following note to the site plan and the architectural plan: "Visibility of all mechanical equipment from the Entrance
Corridor shall be eliminated."
3. Confirm no new lighting is proposed or provide complete information on all proposed lighting in the plan.
4. Coordinate the type and location of new trees to avoid conflicts with the new overhead lines.
5. Add the standard plant health note to the landscape plan: "All site plantings of trees and shrubs shall be allowed to reach, and
be maintained at, mature height; the topping of trees is prohibited. Shrubs and trees shall be pruned minimally and only to
support the overall health of the plant."
6. Add a standard plant schedule to the plan.
7. Specifically identify on the demolition plan each tree to be removed.

No objections to the LOR. Be advised that Buildings or structures built before January 1, 1985 must have an asbestos survey
performed in order to apply for a demolition permit. Asbestos removal permits are required if positive for such from Albemarle
County and VDOLI. Contact VDOLI for their additional requirements and permits for demolition projects at 540-562-3580
xl31.
Staff has provided references to provisions of Chapter 18 of the Code of the County of Albemarle. The Code is kept up to date
by the County Attorney's office. The Code may found on the County Attorney's website which may be found under
"Departments and Services" at Albemarle.org. In accord with the provisions of Section 32.4.3.5 of Chapter 18 of the Code if the
developer fails to submit a revised final site plan to address all of the requirements within six (6) months after the date of this
letter the application shall be deemed to have been voluntarily withdrawn by the developer. If you have any questions about the
