SHIMP ENGINEERING, P.C. Design Focused Engineering June 081", 2020 County VSMP Review Albemarle County Regarding: Perry Residence SWM Calculation Packet Dear Reviewer: Enclosed is the Stormwater Management Calculations Packet for Perry Residence. The enclosed calculations demonstrate compliance with the runoff requirements set forth in 9VAC25-870-65-A. This project will disturb an area of 3.58 acres. The stormwater management strategy for this site is governed by the VRRM Development Spreadsheet. Per 9VAC25-870-65-A, the total TP Load Reduction Required is 1.12 lb/yr. This was calculated using the DEQ Virginia Runoff Reduction Method New Development Compliance Spreadsheet. A total of 3.28 ac undisturbed Open Space will be placed into a conservation easement to meet the requirements of 9VAC25-870-65-A. This dedicated Open Space is applied to the VRRM spreadsheet, giving a Required TP Load Reduction of 0.0 lb/yr. To treat runoff quantity, stormwater water is managed on site through the utilization of sheet flow where possible & by providing (2) two level spreaders which will allow concentrated flow to leave the site in sheet flow conditions. The probability that precipitation frequency estimates (for a given duration and average recurrence interval) will be greater than the upper bound (or less than the lower bound) is 5%.
