Subject: SUB202000102 Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Richmond - Final Plat
The County of Albemarle Planning Division will grant or recommend approval of the Plat referenced above
once the following comments have been addressed: [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference,
which is to the Subdivision/Zoning Ordinances unless otherwise specified.]
1. [14-309 & 14-3101 Soil evaluations; Health Director Approval of Wells and Septic Systems. Prior
to final plat approval Lot A and Lot B shall have a primary and reserve drainfield location and
individual well approved by the Health Department. The soil work that was submitted has been
forwarded to the Health Department and is awaiting review and approval.
2. [14-316] Approval of entrance onto public streets. Prior to final plat approval submit evidence
that the entrance of the principal means of access for each lot onto the existing public street
complies with Virginia Department of Transportation standards. I recently forwarded the plat to
VDOT for review. Once their review comments are received, I'll forward them to you. If you
have already obtained this documentation please provide it to staff.
[14-235, 14-3171 Instrument evidencing maintenance of improvements. Prior to final plat approval the
private street maintenance agreement shall be approved by the County Attorney. The County Attorney
reviewed the private street maintenance agreement and he offers the following suggested changes.

2. Updating the date of the notary clause.
Otherwise, this proposed declaration looks fine.
Staff has provided references to provisions of Chapter 14 of the Code of the County of Albemarle.
The Code is kept up to date by the County Attorney's office. The Code may found on the County
Attorney's website which may be found under "Departments and Services" at Albemarle.org. In
accord with the provisions of Section 14-229(B) of Chapter 14 of the Code if the developer fails to
submit a revised final plat to address all of the requirements within six (6) months after the date of
this letter the application shall be deemed to have been voluntarily withdrawn by the developer.
