Dear Applicant,
We have reviewed your request for the above -noted sign(s) and have approved the design(s) for the Architectural
Review Board as illustrated in the attached drawing(s) with a received date of July 8, 2020. You may consider this letter
your Certificate of Appropriateness.
This approval is specifically conditioned on the following:
1. Execution of the design indicated on the final approved plans, attachments, materials, samples, and other
submittal items presented.
Please note the following:
1. Letter height exceeding the 30" maximum specified in the Comprehensive Sign Plan has been approved for this
sign because the extra letter height is offset by the slender character of the font and because considerable clear
space remains around the letter within the sign band.
2. Zoning, building, and other approvals may still be pending for your sign permit. This approval is only for
the Architectural Review Board/Entrance Corridor.
3. This ARB approval is only one approval required prior to installing a sign. An approved sign permit is also
required. DO NOT proceed with the construction or installation of your sign until you have received your
signed permit. If you have questions about the status of a sign permit application, please contact the permit
intake staff at 296-5832.
4. Any changes in the approved design will require a new application and additional review.
