Planning Applicable comments from Initial Site Plan Action Letter: 1. Comment acknowledged. Revised tax map parcel and owner information has been shown on Sheet 3. 2. A note has been added under Proposed Use in the General Info section of the cover sheet that states the neighborhood amenity area and linear park civic space #1 shall be installed with the future development of blocks 1, 2, & 5. The Recreation note in the General Info section of the cover sheet has been revised as well. 5. The approved and signed application plan from ZMA20150007 is shown on sheet 2. 10. The setbacks are shown and labeled on the layout plan sheet. 12. Block plan has been revised to depict current approval and review conditions. 13. Comment acknowledged. Salamander Street deed book and page number, and revised tax map parcel/owner information/acreages have been shown on the existing conditions sheet. 14. The zoning note on the cover sheet has been updated as requested. Approved conditions have been added tc Sheet 1B. 16. Acknowledged. 17. Acknowledged. 21. The chart on the landscaping plan has been updated to include the canopy coverage for all proposed landscaping features. 22. The landscaping plan has been revised to include additional shrubs along Archer Avenue. These shrubs were chosen from the Albemarle County Recommended Plants List. 23. The landscaping calculations have been updated to include the additional proposed shrubs. The labels for the proposed Shumard oak trees have been revised. 27. Comment acknowledged. New Comments: 1. Comment acknowledged. 2. The label for Block 8A on sheet 3 has been updated as requested. 3. The zoning note on sheet 1 has been updated as requested. 4. The title bar on sheet 5 has been updated to "Site Plan." Sheet 6 labeled as "Grading, Drainage, & Utility Plan". The cover sheet index has been revised per these changes. 5. Acknowledged. 6. Note #1 referring to the landscaping buffer on the landscaping plan sheet has been removed. 7. There is no existing vegetation within Block 1A being conserved. The conservation checklist and notes have been removed from the landscaping plan sheet. 8. The note regarding the street trees along Salamander Street has been added to the landscaping plan sheet. 9. The landscaping plan schedule, plant list, and calculations have been updated. Engineering 1. WPO information for Block 1A has been noted on Sheet 6. 2. Acknowledged. 3. The professional seal is signed and dated. 4. Sanitary sewer has been shifted to be in the middle of the travel lane outside of vehicular wheel paths. The sanitary sewer manholes have been designed to be flush or slightly below final pavement grade, and this has been noted on the utility plan sheet. Dimensions have been shown for manholes in the travelway to ensure they are installed outside of vehicle wheel paths. 5. Reference to CG-9D has been removed from the plans. Roll-top driveway aprons have been shown and labeled and the roll-top driveway apron detail has been added to Sheet 7. 6. Contours have been revised in the NW corner of the site; 2' contours shown. 7. The note on the cover sheet regarding retaining walls has been revised. 8. Drainage divides have been shown and labeled on the drainage map sheet. 9. Trees have been relocated so that they are at least 5' from storm structures and pipes. 10. Proposed easements have been labeled. 11. Intersection sight distance lines are shown on the plan sheets.
