The Department of Transportation, Charlottesville Residency Transportation and Land Use
Section, has reviewed the above referenced plan as submitted by Meridian Planning Group, LLC,
dated 16 March 2020, and offer the following comments:
Land use
1. Please provide trip generation data.
2. Please provide left turn lane analysis off of Three Notch'D., Road Route 240.
3. Please note that the proposed entrance must show conformance with the VDOT Road
Design Manual appendices B (1) and (F), as well as any other applicable standards,
Regulations or other requirements.
4. If in the next revision some streets are proposed to be public, a second connection, likely
to Parkview Drive must be made to meet SSAR requirements.
A VDOT Land Use Permit will be required prior to any work within the right-of-way. The
owner/developer must contact the VDOT Charlottesville Residency Land Use Section at
(434) 422-9399 for information pertaining to this process.
