To the County Engineer:
We are a small custom, artistic painting business specializing in murals, painted signs,
and some painting of furniture. We use the studio space for prepping material, drawing,
and painting. Our operation is run exclusively by the owner of the company and we
have no employees as the owner is self-employed.
We have addressed the performance standards of Zoning Ordinance Section 18-4.14:
Noise: Our operation will not create sound or impact noise levels in excess of the values
specified in Section 4.14.1. We are surrounded by an insulated exterior wall on one side,
two block walls, and open to the interior of the warehouse on the fourth wall. Our only
source of noise is: a light -use shop vacuum/sander (Festool) used intermittently and
infrequently.
Vibration: We operate no equipment in our studio other than light -use shop
vacuum/sander.
Glare: Our operation is completely contained within the building. The interior lighting
associated with this operation is not visible from any exterior vantage point as we have
no windows.
Air Pollution: There will be no emission of smoke, odor or gaseous pollutants.
Water Pollution: No industrial liquid wastes will be generated by this operation. Our
operation does not represent a hazard to water quality. All paints used in the studio are
water -based, low to no odor, and are disposed of properly (allowed to dry and disposed
of as solid waste in appropriate trash receptacle.)
Radioactivity: Our operation does not require handling of radioactive materials. There
will be no radioactive emissions.
Electrical Interference: Our operation does not require any equipment that would
generate electrical disturbances.
