SHIMP ENGINEERING, P.C. Design Focused Engineering August 6th, 2020 County VSMP Review Albemarle County Regarding: Perry Residence SWM Calculation Packet Dear Reviewer: Enclosed is the Stormwater Management Calculations Packet for Perry Residence. The enclosed calculations demonstrate compliance with the runoff requirements set forth in 9VAC25-870-55. This project will disturb an area of 3.58 acres. To treat runoff quantity, stormwater water is managed on site through the utilization of sheet flow where possible & by providing (2) two level spreaders which will allow concentrated flow to leave the site in sheet flow conditions. Numbers in parenthesis are PF estimates at lower and upper bounds of the 90% confidence interval. The probability that precipitation frequency estimates (for a given duration and average recurrence interval) vnll be greater than the upper bound (or less than the lower bound) is 5%. Estimates at upper bounds are not checked against probable maximum precipitation (PMP) estimates and may be higher than currently valid PMP values.
