10. CPA 200902. C rozet Master Plan. Amend the Land Use Plan section of the Albemarle County
C omprehensiv e Plan by replacing the existing profile for the C ommunity of C roz et and the Crozet Master
Plan w ith a rev ised Crozet Master Plan, which establishes new land use polic ies, guidelines ,
recommendations, goals and strategies for future development within the master plan area, w hich may
include or exc lude lands beyond those described in the existing neighborhood and community profile and the
removal of an approximately 29acre portion of TMP 5666 (NE of Firehouse Lane) from the Community of
C rozet boundaries. The Crozet Master Plan w ould establish the following for the master plan area: a vision
for the area and guiding principles; a future land use plan designating existing and proposed centers, mixed
use areas, indus trial areas, res idential areas , preservation areas; a plan for the transportation network, and
its integration with the land uses ; a plan for providing and supporting community facilities and services; a
plan for parks and green systems ; and a plan for implementing the master plan. CPA 200602, which is a
proposal to remove the propos ed road shown in the 2004 Crozet Master Plan ac ross TMP 5614D, will als o
be considered in conjunction w ith the Crozet Master Plan. C opies of the full text of the Croz et Master Plan
and related maps are on file in the office of the Clerk of the Board of Superv isors and in the Department of
C ommunity D evelopment, County Office Building, 401 McIntire R oad, Charlottesville, Virginia.
