10. Consideration of the adoption of an ordinance to amend Chapter 6, Fire Protection, of the Albemarle County
C ode to adopt and reordain an amended Article I, Coordinated Fire and Rescue System. The ordinance
w ould establish a coordinated fire and rescue sy stem, cons isting of the County’s volunteer fire companies
and rescue squads and the Albemarle County Department of Fire and Rescue, under the general direction of
the County’s fire and rescue chief.
