Our Responses are in bold italic text below each comment. PLANNING — Poty Saternye 9. [32.5.2(b), 32.5.2(n) & 32.6.2(1)) a. Rev. 1: Rev. 2: Comment not yet fully addressed. Address the following: i. Revise the location of other labels and notes so that they do not cover the information provided for the tree and shrub species. Comment noted. See revised plans. We have corrected sheet C2.0 and C3.0 to not show an overlap of the surveyed plant species with proposed labels. However, the surveyed plant labels are still shown on Sheet C1.0. ii. Identify the "Unidentified Shrubs" and add the species to the labels. d. Rev. 1: V. Comment noted. All shrubs previously called out as "unidentified" have been identified. See revised plans, specifically Sheet C1.0. Rev. 2: Comment not yet fully addressed. Identify or remove the symbol directly above the Leyland Cyprus that is a circle with a square in the middle. It appears to be directly on top of one side of the dumpster enclosure. Rev. 1: vi. Comment Response Letter August 4, 2020 1 Page 2 avoid conflict with the dumpster area because these trees get significantly large. Symbol has been removed. It was erroneous. A note about tree trimming has been provided on Sheet C3.0. Rev. 2: Comment not yet fully addressed. Address the following: a) The Cherry tree, in the upper left of the site plan and near the building does not appear to be shown in the existing to combined landscaping tables. Revise the charts to include the cherry tree. Comment noted. See revised plans. An additional planting table has been provided to account for species that exist today but were not included on the original site plan. See sheet C3.0. We can understand if this information is becoming cumbersome, but it has only seemed logical to organize the plant schedules into these categories: 1) Originally approved Site Plan Landscape Materials 2) Species currently planted but not included in original site plan 3) Additional species planted for conformance with Original Plan or Current requirements 4) Combined Total. b) There appears to be one more Redbud tree shown in the landscaping charts than shown on the site (either existing or proposed). Revise the charts to state the correct number of Redbud trees. Comment noted. 3 red buds are proposed. 3 redbuds exist. The total quantity is therefore 6. See revised plans and schedules. c) Although the "Additional Species to be planted" chart contains `Buford Holly" and "Carex Grass" they do not appear to shown as being planted on the landscape plan. Ensure all things in the chart match those shown as existing and proposed. PROP: (5) BUFORD HOLLY We have increased the visibility of these plant labels within the revised drawings. d) Although there are "Cherry Laurel" shrubs shown on the proposed site plan those shrubs are not contained in any of the charts. Ensure the charts include the remaining and proposed plantings accurately. Comment noted. See revised plans. Cherry Laurel is a species now on the site but not on the original site plan. Therefore, this is contained within the table called "Species Currently planted but not included in the Original Site Plan". 14. [32.5.2(n) 32.6.1(e)(6),& 32.6.2(i)] e. Rev. 1: Rev. 2: Comment not yet fully addressed. It appears that the comment above was misinterpreted. All of that comment was for items under "Parking Provided" and the reference to removing "required" and "ADA reference" were only to be applied to the "Parking Provided" area. Instead the whole "Parking Required" section of the Proposed Site Plan Requirements has been removed, which is not what the comment requested. Also, the loading spaces provided at the back of the building (see new comment below) have not been shown in the "proposed Site Plan Requirements. Address the following: i. Leave the "Parking Provided" section as it is in (as in the 6/15/2020 submission). Comment noted. See revised plans. ii. Put the "Parking Required" section back in as it was shown in the 3/27/2020 submission). See revised plans. iii. Add the loading spaces, provided at the back of the building, in a new section under the "Parking Provided" area of the data. Comment noted. See revised plans. 20. [Comment] Rev. 1: Rev. 2: Comment not yet fully addressed. ARB comments are still pending and will be forwarded to you once they are available. Comment noted. ARB has been contacted and has given approval in the form of an email. 23. Rev. 2: [NEW COMMENT] Provide labels (including the dimensions) and hatching for the two loading space areas at the back of the building. Comment noted. See revised plans. 9. Rev. 2: [NEW COMMENT] Replace the Scope of Work: section of the coversheet and ensure it encompasses the work that is proposed. It appears this section of the cover sheet was accidentally removed while editing the Project Summary. Comment noted. See revised Cover sheet.
