Dear Mr. Cox:
The Albemarle County Planning Commission, at its meeting on December 20, 2005, unanimously
recommended approval of the above -noted petitions to the Board of Supervisors.
Please note that this approval is subject to the following conditions:
Regarding ZMA 2005-008
The Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval, subject to the following
required changes to the proffers:
The deadline for all signatures to the agreement being changed to February 28;
The revision to Attachment A being made before the Board meeting; and
The pedestrian improvements proffer being raised to $20,000.
Regarding SP 2005-015
The Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval, subject to the following
conditions as recommended by staff:
1. Drive -up windows will be limited to three (3); including one to be used for an ATM.
2. Architectural Review Board issuance of a Certificate of Appropriateness.
3. Applicant is responsible for installation and maintenance of control devices such as
signage, and pavement markings as indicated on the site plan. The crosswalk just beyond
the drive -up window bays for the bank shall be identified with crosswalk signage on
either side of the drive aisle.
Please be advised that the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors will review both petitions and
receive public comment at their meeting on January 11, 2006.
