HomeMy WebLinkAboutSUB202000132 Review Comments Final Plat 2020-08-12NE County of Albemarle Department of Community Development 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, VA, 22902 Memorandum To: David Jordan From: Christopher Perez, Senior Planner Division: Planning Date: August 12, 2020 Subject: SUB2020-132 BLA between PID 127-7 and 127-10 - BLA The County of Albemarle Planning Division will grant or recommend approval of the Subdivision Plat referenced above once the following comments have been addressed: [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference, which is to the Subdivision/Zoning Ordinances unless otherwise specified.] 1. [14-302(B)7] Reservoir watershed. Revise note #8 to state that the property is within the Green Creek Water Watershed, which is not a water supply watershed. 2. [14-302(B)7] Agricultural forestal district. Revise note #9 to remove the "does not appear" and state that it is not located in the Agricultural forestal district. 3. [14-302(A)9] Building site on proposed lots. Revise note #6 to reference Section 4.2.1 of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance. 4. [14-302(A)10] Right offurther division ofproposed lots. On the plat either provide the number of development rights associated with the parcels or provide a note that states this plat does not affect the development rights associated with the properties. 5. [14303(0)] Signature Panels. Revise the County's signature block as follows: "Agent for the Board of Supervisors" 6. [Comment] Please explain the note: "Right-of-way taking 0.073 Ac Highway, project 680H, sheet 5". What does sheet 5 reference refer to? Staff has provided references to provisions of Chapter 14 of the Code of the County of Albemarle. The Code is kept up to date by the County Attorney's office. The Code may found on the County Attorney's website which may be found under "Departments and Services" at Albemarle.org. In accord with the provisions of Section 14-229(B) of Chapter 14 of the Code if the developer fails to submit a revised final plat to address all of the requirements within six (6) months after the date of this letter the application shall be deemed to have been voluntarily withdrawn by the developer.
