Ste 201 Warrenton, VA 20186 RE: ARB-2019-151/ARB-2020-47: 29'" Place Drive-thru (TMP 061U0-01-00-01500) Dear Applicant, Fax (434) 972-4126 At its meeting on Monday, August 17, 2020, the Albemarle County Architectural Review Board reviewed the above noted item and unanimously approved the request, pending staff administrative approval of the following conditions: 1. Provide a physical sample of the color proposed for the vertical siding for review. 2. Add the standard mechanical equipment note to the site plan. 3. Revise the landscape plan to accurately show the existing tree canopy sizes for better coordination with new tree locations. Add trees along the frontage to achieve consistent spacing, approximately 35' on center, including north of the site entrance that is to be closed. Provide more than one species of tree to meet the requirements for shade and ornamentals. Provide a fully coordinated planting of trees and shrubs. 4. Revise the landscape plan to show additional shrubs in the planting area between the drive -through lane and the 7- space parking area. 5. Provide information showing how visibility of new equipment will be eliminated. Please provide: 1. One full set of revised drawings addressing each of these conditions. Include updated revision dates on each drawing. 2. A memo including detailed responses indicating how each condition has been satisfied. If changes other than those requested have been made, identify those changes in the memo also. Highlighting the changes in the drawing with "clouding" or by other means will facilitate review and approval. 3. The attached "Revised Application Submittal" form. This form must be returned with your revisions to ensure proper tracking and distribution. When staff s review of this information indicates that all conditions of approval have been met, a Certificate of Appropriateness may be issued.
