Let me know if you need anything else, thanks for everything, Brian Gillispie From: Mike Circeo <mrcirceo@cox.net> Sent: Monday, August 24, 2020 12:21 PM To: 'brian gillispie' <b_gillispie@msn.com> Subject: RE: waiting Brian, Yes, I did. Thanks. With respect to the tiered segmental retaining walls at Inglewood Terrance, the horizontal distance between the lower wall and the building (Unit 7) is approximately 15 feet. The bottom geogrid layers are 12 feet long. The horizontal distance between the upper wall and the building (Unit 7) is approximately 10 feet. The top geogrid layers are 6 feet. I do not believe there would be a conflict with the geogird and building foundations. Service lines such as gas, electric, cable, water, sewer and roof drain pipes, if applicable, should be coordinated to avoid trench through the top geogrid layers (6 feet behind the upper wall). I hope this helps. Mike Circeo Michael R. Circeo, P.E. Can you please answer Frank's question below? Thanks, Brian Gillispie From: Frank Pohl <fpohl@albemarle.org> Sent: Monday, August 24, 202010:42 AM To: brian gillispie <B_Gillispie@msn.com>; Matthew Wentland <mwentland@albemarle.org> Subject: RE: waiting Brian, Can you confirm with your wall designer if the walls shown on this plan will have tie -backs? Our concern is that if they do, they will extend into the building envelope. If Circeo can confirm tie -backs do not extend under the proposed building structures, we can move forward. Please keep in mind that the walls and the associated tie -backs will need to be in an easement, which will need to be shown on the subdivision plat and site plan. Frank Frank V. Still waiting to hear back on why I need stamped drawings for the retaining walls way before the ordinance calls for them, which is during the permitting process. Let me know. Thanks, Brian Gillispie
