Brian,
In review of the grading plan, the lower Wall A will need to be designed in conjunction with Upper Wall B, and related
surcharge.
Consider using all stone in the reinforced fill fill zoned in the vicinity of the storm pipe to maintain rapid drainage relief
when the wall is submerged.
Wrap the leveling pad with geotextile and construct with compacted crusher run to prevent softening of the
subgrade. Undercut may be require since this appears to be a lowlying area and soft soils should be expected.
Construct concrete lintel using grouted SRW units and No. 4 rebar to span over the pipe opening.
Rip rap lined with geotextile at the end the storm pipe reduce the potential for scour scour.
Let me know if this is satisfactory to address the concrerns of the County.

Mike,
The county comment, reads as follows:
11. Provide plans for the retaining wall and verification that there is no issue with the wall and wall
foundation being submerged during storm events.
The wall we're looking at is at the top of the development where the intake pipe for the storm runoff is
located.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,

Brian,
Do you need a design for all of the segmental retaining walls?
If not, which walls do I need to look at?

Hello Brian,
Following up on my email from the other day. Give these to whomever you want to get your wall material from and they
should be able to get a design done for you. The county only requires stamped design for walls over 4' height.
