Revise the renovation design to incorporate architectural details, forms and colors that establish a
cohesive appearance for the existing building and compatibility with the surrounding site. Consider the
form and material for clear column support for the existing brick and the proposed siding elements.
Consider a lighter alternative color for the siding.

Applicant Response:
The renovation design has been revised to adjust the existing columns immediately under the proposed
siding areas. These existing columns will be painted to match the siding above. The siding color has been
lightened to more closely align with the roof color of the main building at 29th Place.

Provide a roof plan and elevations that show proposed roof -mounted mechanical equipment and how
that equipment will be screened from the EC.
Add the standard mechanical equipment note to the site and architectural plans.

Applicant Response:
The proposed parapet extension of V-7" will provide the screening required from the EC. Per the site line section
below, the mechanical units would not be visible from the EC and a sight line to the mechanical units would be
from more than 1150' from the building. Should the new mechanical units be visible from the EC after
construction, then the owner will provide full mechanical screening in accordance with the Guidelines.
"Visibility of all [new] mechanical equipment from the Entrance Corridor shall be eliminated."

Applicant Response:
In on -going lease negotiations, the tenant has requested exterior sconces on the south elevation only to
enhance the drive-thru experience. 5 total fixtures are requested and none would be visible from the front of the
building or from the Entrance Corridor.
