VA I ARB Review Comments dated June 2, 2020: Ref #1 Revise the renovation design to incorporate architectural details, forms and colors that establish a cohesive appearance for the existing building and compatibility with the surrounding site. Consider the form and material for clear column support for the existing brick and the proposed siding elements. Consider a lighter alternative color for the siding. Should the new mechanical units be visible from the EC after construction, then the owner will provide full mechanical screening in accordance with the Guidelines.
