This is your Written Warning in accordance with § 17-900 of the Water Protection Ordinance of
Albemarle County and Section 62.1-44.15:37 of the Virginia Stormwater Management Act.
This Written Warning is being issued because of the following deficiencies:
Deficiency: Observed areas that need to be covered by vegetation.
Corrective Action: Cover open areas that are not being actively worked for 7 days or longer
Deficiency: Seed needed on stockpile at the time of visit
Corrective Action: Stabilize the stockpile to prevent erosion
Deficiency: Basin observed to have the riser structure installed in Stormwater mode. Need to be
converted to Erosion control mode.
Corrective Action: Need to install the proper dewatering device and anti- vortex plate. Seal off the pre -
installed stormwater inverts
Deficiency: Seed as necessary
Corrective Action: Seed all finished slopes or slopes that will remain inactive to prevent scour from
runoff
Deficiency: Check dams along construction entrance observed to be installed incorrectly and allowing
runoff to bypass.
Corrective Action: Install proper controls as per VESCH minimum standards. Straw matting on channel

under § 17-900 et -al of the Water Protection Ordinance of the Albemarle County Code.
Should you have a legitimate reason you cannot complete your required corrections by the
above given date, you must immediately contact your erosion control inspector. Unless you
have contacted the inspector and agreed to alternative arrangements, all compliance work is
expected to be completed by the above date.
