RE: Board of Zoning Appeals Action Letter

Dear Mr. Newton:
At their meeting on September 12, 2006, the Board of Zoning Appeals voted 5-0 to
approve your variance request with a modification from your proposal. This variance
application is to replace two wall signs and install one new wall sign at the Landmark
Aviation Hangars (formerly Piedmont Hawthorne).
The Board approved an aggregate area variance of 160 square feet for 3 signs (signs
#1, 3 and 4 in the attached chart). These signs are not to exceed 75 square feet
individually or 200 square feet in the aggregate. The Board also approved an
aggregate height variance of 16 feet for 3 signs not to exceed a height of 36 feet.
