A SEDIMENT FILTER OR AN EXCAVATED IMPOUNDING AREA AROUND A STORM DRAIN DROP
INLET OR CURB INLET. TO PREVENT SEDIMENT FROM ENTERING STORM DRAINAGE SYSTEMS
PRIOR TO PERMANENT STABILIZATION OF THE DISTURBED AREA. INLET PROTEC7ON APPLIES
WHERE STORM DRAIN INLETS ARE TO BE MADE OPERATIONAL BEFORE PERMANENT
STABILIZATION OF THE CORRESPONDING DISTURBED DRAINAGE AREA.
3.09 TEMPORARY DIVERSION DIKE.,
A TEMPORARY RIDGE OF COMPACTED SOIL CONSTRUCTED AT 7HE TOP OR BASE OF A SLOPING
