Greetings Jeff, I am in the process of completing the Starting a Home Food Processing Business in Virginia application and on page 5 it requires zoning approval from my local zoning office. https://www.vdacs.virginia.gov/pdf/homefdapplication.pdf . The application requires that I "Provide written documentation that you have approval from your local zoning office to operate a home food processing business on your property." So, I filled out the zoning application from your website to obtain approval. Once I have this key component back from my local zoning office, I can then submit the entire application packet to VDACS for them to process and inspection for food processing.
